DOES IT ACTUALLY WORK?
Yes. Bare Patch uses a depilatory gel — the same chemistry that professional hair removal creams use — embedded directly into the patch. When you press it against your skin, the gel breaks down the hair at root level. After 7 minutes you peel it off and shower. The hair comes off with the patch and rinses clean in the shower.
IS IT SAFE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?
We formulated Bare Patch with skin safety as a priority. That said, everyone's skin is different. We recommend doing a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before your first full application. If you experience redness or irritation during that test, discontinue use. If you have a known sensitivity to depilatory creams like Nair, consult your dermatologist before using.
WHAT ABOUT MOLES?
Do not apply the patch directly over moles, skin tags, cuts, sunburned skin, or any irritated areas. Apply around them and avoid direct contact. If you have many moles on your back we recommend mapping them out before application so you can position the patch carefully.
HOW THICK DOES MY HAIR NEED TO BE FOR IT TO WORK?
Bare Patch works on a range of hair thicknesses from light to very thick. For very coarse or very thick hair you may need to leave the patch on for the full 7 minutes. Do not exceed the recommended time.
WILL IT IRRITATE MY SKIN?
Most men experience no irritation. Some may experience mild redness that fades within an hour — this is normal and similar to what you'd see after any depilatory treatment. Avoid sun exposure on the treated area for 24 hours after application. Do not apply immediately after showering or working out when skin is warm and pores are open — wait at least 30 minutes.
HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?
Results typically last 2 to 4 weeks depending on your natural hair growth rate. Unlike shaving which cuts hair at the surface, Bare Patch removes hair at root level so regrowth is slower and softer.
CAN I USE IT ON OTHER AREAS?
Bare Patch is currently formulated and sized for back hair removal. We are developing versions for shoulders, chest, and neck. Sign up for our email list to be notified when new products launch.
